TESTIMONIALS
"I certainly can attest to Dan's professionalism and approach with our players. Even the short time he had with our team was beneficial and I have no doubt each one of them got something from it. Sport psych realm is on par with it’s growing niche in the sports world. It’s the next piece of the puzzle that athletes need to be successful and he's right there putting those pieces together for them. Our team enjoyed the time with Dan and I would undoubtedly have him work with them again in a heartbeat."

"Coach Jones was the kind of coach that really got to know his players and really emphasized teaching the game. He was very good at talking over performances, good or bad, and giving subtle advice which helped me bring my game to the next level. He consistently put the effort in to help me improve throughout the season.
As a mental coach he is very good at teaching me to refocus by emphasizing basics of the game and by building strong routines. The mental side of the game is extremely important and after practicing his mental exercises I really turned my game around, finishing the season as strong and confident as I ever have in my career."

"Many athletes go about their career’s not realizing the importance of being mentally strong. Coach Jones helped me understand that in order to play at my maximum ability, I needed to be confident, focused and prepared. This year he helped build my confidence through visualization, self-talk, and being able to focus during practices and games.
As a hockey goaltender my pregame routine is a key component for me being successful. Before every game and several practices I would throw a ball against the wall and catch it, something I’ve always done to prepare myself. Coach Jones made a minor adjustment to my warm-up, that didn’t seem like a huge difference, but drastically improved my game. He taught me how to use visualization to help build my confidence, create a game plan, and improve my focus.
Self-talk and the ability to re-focus were other techniques I was able to work on with Coach Jones. After getting scored on, instead of asking myself what I could have done better, I focused on saving the next shot. I knew working with Coach Jones that there would be plenty of time to figure out what I could improve on after the game, but during the game it was about staying focused and worrying about saving one shot at a time.
I want to thank Coach Jones for helping improve my overall performance and consistency of play through his vast knowledge of mental training."
